Graduate Certificate of Project Management

Find out what makes a successful project manager in the Graduate Certificate of Project Management and learn how to undertake a new project. Project Management can be applied in almost any industry across a range of projects. These projects include developing a new product or service, effecting a change in structure, staffing, or style of an organisation, designing new applications, developing, or implementing a new or modified information system, constructing a building or facility, managing government projects or implementing a new business procedure or process. Course Learning Outcomes

  1. Critically evaluate the ethical, professional, and sustainable implications of project management decisions and justify responsible courses of action.
  2. Strategically implement project management practices, technologies, tools and technical skills appropriate to address complex organisational challenges in diverse national and global contexts.

Admission requirements

Admission requirement (Band 6)

  • Bachelor degree; or
  • Equivalent prior learning including at least five years relevant professional experience.

English Language requirement (Band 4)

English competency requirements may be satisfied through completion of one of the following:

  • IELTS Academic Overall band minimum score of 6.5 (no individual band less than 6.0);
  • Bachelor degree from a country specified in the Admissions Policy;
  • Successfully completed 0.375 EFTSL of study at postgraduate level or higher at an Australian higher education provider (or equivalent);
  • Where accepted, equivalent prior learning, including at least five years relevant professional experience; or
  • Other tests, courses or programs as defined in the Admissions Policy.

Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) level

This course has been accredited by ECU as an AQF Level 8 Graduate Certificate Award.

Course Structure
