School of Business and Law achieves top spot for business

ECU's School of Business and Law has once again taken out the top spot for Business education in Western Australia (WA) in the 2024 GUG.

The School achieved the top local ranking in all six categories of undergraduate education: Learner Engagement, Learning Resources, Overall Education Experience, Skills Development, Student Support and Teaching Quality.

Postgraduate Business and Law students also ranked their discipline as number one in Australia for Learning Resources and Student Support, and best in WA for Overall Education Experience, Skills Development and Teaching Quality.

These rankings are derived from national graduate survey data, which clearly demonstrate that ECU's School of Business and Law, in the opinion of students, is one of the best schools in the country.

ECU School of Business and Law Executive Dean Professor Maryam Omari said that the School has gone from strength to strength, building on its outstanding results from last year, which included being ranked as the country's number 1 business school for quality in the Australian Financial Review's BOSS Best Business Schools list.

"Our School's exceptional results follow accreditation by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) International, which is held by less than six per cent of the world’s Business Schools," she said.

"We provide an exceptional student experience and a range of delivery options to suit the personal circumstances of our diverse cohort.

"Passionate academic and professional staff work closely with students to ensure their academic progress and wellbeing. Our programs undergo regular reviews and updates, and our industry partners are involved in the design, development and delivery to ensure our courses are contemporary and relevant." Professor Omari said.
