ECU has yet again achieved outstanding results in the Good Universities Guide across a range of categories that showcase the University's excellence and dedication to student experience.

Edith Cowan University (ECU) has yet again achieved outstanding results in the Good Universities Guide (GUG) across a range of categories that showcase the University’s excellence and dedication to student experience.

Excellence on a national level

Undergraduate study

ECU has achieved five-stars in the GUG for undergraduate study in Overall Experience, Student Support, Skills Development, Learning Resources and for the 17th year in a row, Teaching Quality.

An upward trending rating of 83 per cent of ECU undergraduate students said they were satisfied with the overall quality of their educational experience, resulting in the University retaining its five-star status for Overall Experience in the Guide.

Postgraduate study

Postgraduate students have again rated ECU highly resulting in five-star awards for Overall Experience, Teaching Quality, Student Support, Skills Development and Learning Resources.

In addition, the University has achieved the number one position in Australia for postgraduate learning resources, demonstrating our commitment to postgraduate education.

Quality rankings on a State level

Undergraduate study

ECU dominated all six scales measured in the GUG continuing to rank number one in Western Australia (WA) for Overall Experience, Student Support, Learner Engagement, Skills Development, Learning Resources and for the 17th year in a row Teaching Quality demonstrating ECU’s excellence and dedication to its student experience.

ECU's Business and Management and Science and Mathematics continue to showcase its dominance nationally, with the GUG undergraduate Fields of Study ranking ECU as number one in Western Australia in all six scales: Overall Experience, Student Support, Learner Engagement, Skills Development, Learning Resources and Teaching Quality.

Postgraduate study

ECU has ranked 1st in WA for Overall Experience, Skills Development, Student Support, Learning Resources and Teaching Quality.

The University's dominance in the State in student voted rankings demonstrates the high-quality student experience and teaching offerings at ECU.
