ECU takes first place in WA for student experience

Edith Cowan University (ECU) has been confirmed as Western Australia's leading university for student experience in the 2024 QILT Student Experience Survey.

The latest survey results show ECU ranked first in the State for overall student experience, teaching quality and engagement, skills development, and student support and services.

On the national stage in the 2024 QILT results, ECU has also reinforced its reputation for excellence in preparing students for the future, recognised as the number one public university in Australia for skills development for the third consecutive year. The University also placed second nationally for student support services, illustrating once again its strength in providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

These latest results demonstrate ECU's position as a university of choice for students who want high-quality teaching, strong engagement with industry and outstanding support throughout their studies. They also highlight ECU's distinctive focus on practical, hands-on learning and a student-centred approach that delivers graduates who are confident, capable and career ready.

Looking ahead, ECU remains focused on enhancing the student experience, across all campuses, including ECU City from semester one 2026 - ensuring graduates continue to thrive in a rapidly changing world.
