Congratulations to ECU Communications student Luke Quinlivan who won gold in the Australian Men’s Water Polo at the World University Summer Games held in Belgrade, Serbia this month.
Luke and his team defeated tournament favourites Croatia 6 – 4 in a thrilling final match.
The Australian team was very successful at this year’s Games, taking home five gold, two silver and one bronze medal.
ECU was proud to support Luke in his endeavour, and wishes him luck at the upcoming World Water Polo Championships in Rome, Italy.
