Kurongkurl Katitjin student helps launch Noongar Radio

ECU student Glenn Moore has recently won the international 'Battle of the Didges' competition held to mark the first broadcast of Perth's new indigenous radio station, 6NME 100.9FM.

Also known as Noongar Radio, the station was launched on Sunday, 5 July as part of the NAIDOC Week opening ceremony held in Wellington Square.

Glenn impressed the crowd with his performance, and was featured in The West Australian on Monday, 6 July.

Glenn is currently studying the Indigenous University Orientation Course at Kurongkurl Katitjin, and is a keen advocate for social justice who is considering studying law in the future.
