ECU hosts UNESCO editorial committee meeting

Editorial meeting participants
ECU has this week hosted the second editorial meeting for the Caring in the Pacific Guidebook sponsored by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO).
Caring in the Pacific is a teachers' guide for Pacific Island educators in both formal and non-formal education. The guide is expected to provide primary school teachers with samples of practical teaching and learning activities and information with useful resources.
The editorial committee is made up of academics from Australia, New Zealand, Korea and Papua New Guinea, including Dr Colin Power, former Deputy Director-General of UNESCO.
Representatives met at ECU's Mount Lawley Campus from Monday, 17 August to Wednesday, 19 August to further develop the guidebook.
ECU was represented by Professor Greg Robson, Professor Cher Ping Lim and Senior Lecturer Belinda Nelson.
