WAAPA’s Anything Goes receives enthusiastic reviews

WAAPA's Anything Goes runs from the 11 to 19 June
The Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) proudly presents their mid-year musical Anything Goes, showing this week at the Regal Theatre.
Performed exclusively by WAAPA’s musical theatre students, Anything Goes is the Academy's biggest production to date.
Anything Goes is a song and dance spectacular which tells the tale of young Billy Crocker as he discovers love aboard the ocean liner SS America.
Director of WAAPA, Professor Julie Warn, is excited by the shows positive reviews so far.
“This show has it all – a perfect fun-filled, toe-tapping evening.
“Everyone is talking about it with great enthusiasm and affection.”
Anything Goes is a hands on deck production, featuring third-year WAAPA students in the leading roles, production and design students in charge of set design and jazz and classical students making up the orchestra.
Featuring an array of dance numbers, and classic Cole Porter Songs, Anything Goes is a musical treat for all ages.
Date: Friday, 11 June to Saturday, 19 June
Cost: $60, $50 concession
