ECU extends partnership with Emirates Group Security

The award winning partnership between Emirates Group Security and Edith Cowan University has recently been extended for 5 years at a formal signing ceremony in Dubai.
The partnership was annouced following review from Divisional Senior Vice President of Emirates Group Security Dr. Abdullah Al Hashimi and Vice Chancellor & President of ECU Professor Kerry Cox.
"This productive partnership exemplifies ECU's strategic priorities, which include teaching and learning inspired by relevant research to produce work-ready graduates," said Professor Cox.
"The partnership has produced some 840 graduates, who are well regarded around the world in contributing to air-travel which is much more secure and safer"
ECU's collaboration with the Emirates Group was recognised by a 2006 Business/Higher Education Round Table award for Best International Collaboration Education and Training Enhancing Security in an Increasingly Interdependent World.
