Entry criteria

Admission requirements

To gain entry to the Graduate Certificate of Human Resource Management, applicants must:

  • Have any bachelor degree, or​
  • Equivalent prior learning including at least five years relevant professional experience.​
  • Meet English Language Requirements (Band 4). This can include IELTS Academic - Overall band minimum score of 6.5 (no individual band less than 6.0).

Meet your Course Coordinator

Dr Esmé Franken is a Course Coordinator for Human Resource Management and a Lecturer in the School of Business and Law. She has recently completed a PhD in Human Resources and Industrial Relations from Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand. 

Esmé is interested in how both managers and employees can develop to their full potential in organisations. Her research uses both quantitative and qualitative methodologies, and centers on leadership and employee development.

Not only will you be supported by our academic staff with feedback and answers to your academic questions, but you will also receive dedicated one-on-one support for all non-academic queries from your Student Success Advisor. They are available via phone or email to provide motivation and guidance, supporting you while you achieve your study goals.

Assessment

Assessments vary from unit to unit. Please check with your Course Coordinator or Student Success Advisor about each unit's assessment requirements. Assessments may include case studies, reviews, reports, portfolios, applied projects and presentations. We do not hold exams for accelerated online programs.

Fees and FEE-HELP

The cost of our Graduate Certificate of Human Resource Management is $14,220* for all three units.

To assist with some or all of your tuition fees, FEE-HELP is available for eligible students. This government-supported loan scheme is designed to help eligible full-fee paying students pay their postgraduate tuition fees.
