Edith Cowan University (ECU), in partnership with the ECU-Joondalup Soccer Club, has completed construction of a $1.3 million dollar multi-use facility.

The two-storey building overlooks the main soccer pitch on the Joondalup Campus.

It will provide a home for the ECU-Joondalup Soccer Club - a premier soccer club and junior training academy in WA.

As a multi-use facility, it will also be utilised by the University to teach students in the Bachelor of Event, Sport and Recreation Management program, as well as the new Bachelor of Science (Sports Science and Football) program.

Manager of ECU Sports David Ernst said the building was the culmination of over ten years of planning.

“The facility showcases ECU’s dedication in providing for its students sporting and recreation facilities that are the envy of other universities in Australia,” Mr Ernst said.
