ECU recently welcomed its latest group of Study Abroad and exchange students, with over 50 students due to study with us next semester.
The students join us from a range of countries, including Austria, Canada, China, Germany, Netherlands, Hong Kong, Japan, Norway, Sweden, the UK and the USA.
They will be studying at ECU this semester as part of their home institution degrees.
The welcome event, held at the Joondalup Campus, also saw returning ECU students share their experiences with those about to commence their study, providing useful advice and handy hints.
ECU Pro-Vice-Chancellor Professor Ron Oliver attended the event to officially welcome the students and wish them all the best for their stay in Perth.
Also in attendance were Associate Professor and Associate Dean International, Jim Cross and the ECU International Student Mobility Team, represented by Ms Natalie Ilott, Sara Normand and Kate Butler.
"We are very glad that the students have chosen ECU and Perth as their study institution and destination," Ms Butler said.
“We know first hand what an enriching experience studying abroad can bring both academically, professionally and personally, as a majority of staff at ECU International are travellers themselves,”
“It was also great to see all of our returned study abroad and exchange students again and to hear about their exciting adventures.”
