Opening hours for ECU services supporting future, current and graduating students will change over the Christmas-New Year break.

The Future Student Engagements office opening hours during the break are as follows:
The South West Campus Future Students Engagements office will be closed from 4.00pm on Friday, 18 December 2020 and will reopen from 9.00am on Monday, 4 January 2021.
All Future Student Engagements offices will return to normal business hours of 9.00am to 4.00pm weekdays for walk-in enquiries across all campuses from Monday, 4 January 2021. Phone, social media and live chat enquiries will return to normal business hours of 8.30am to 5.00pm weekdays.
If you wish to contact our friendly Current Student Enquiries team you can contact us via phone on 134 328 or submit an online enquiry in AskUs. Please note we will be closed for current student enquiries from 4.00pm on Wednesday, 23 December 2020 and will reopen at 8.30am on Monday, 4 January 2021.
The Student Hub at Joondalup and Mount Lawley campuses will be closed at 4.30pm on Friday, 18 December 2020 and will reopen on Monday, 4 January 2021, returning to normal business hours of 9.00am to 4.30pm weekdays.
The Student Hub at South West Campus will be closed at 4.00pm on Friday, 18 December 2020 and will reopen on Monday, 4 January 2021, returning to normal business hours of 9.00am to 4.00pm weekdays.
Student Health Services, Counselling and Equity, Diversity and Disability Services close at 4.30pm on Friday, 18 December 2020 and will reopen at 8.30am on Monday, 4 January 2021.
ECU Out of Hours Crisis Line
The Crisis Line will be available 24 hours a day for all current students during the University’s Essential Student Services Period (ESSP), commencing 5.00pm on Friday, 18 December 2020 until 9.00am on Monday 4, January 2021. Please phone 1300 583 032 or text 0488 884 232 if you need crisis support during this time.
All Campus Libraries will be closed from 5.00pm on Friday, 18 December 2020 and will reopen at 8.30am on Monday, 4 January 2021.
Opening hours at all Campus Libraries in January will be Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm. Access to online Library collections will continue to be available during the Christmas and New Year closure period.
Campus food, beverage and retail outlets will be closed over University’s Essential Student Services Period (ESSP), from Friday, 18 December 2020 to Monday, 4 January 2021 and will operate on amended trading hours from November 2020 to February 2021. The Corporate Events Office will be closed at 4.45pm on Thursday, 24 December 2020 and will reopen at 9.00am on Monday, 4 January 2021.
For all graduation-related queries during the closure period, please email the Corporate Events Office at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will respond on Monday, 4 January 2021.
Graduation registration closes at midnight (12.00am) on Sunday, 10 January 2021. Late registrations will not be accepted. Emails sent before this time will be accepted.
Security officers will continue be on 24-hour duty and can be contacted on 6304 3333 (extension 3333 for internal calls). The maintenance help desk will be operational on extension 5554 throughout the break.
Security can also be contacted at any time through the ECU safety app, Nowforce.
Student swipe-card access will be disabled between Monday, 21 December 2020 and Friday, 1 January 2021, except PhD or postgraduate students who have already obtained authorisation.
Staff access will not be affected but staff are asked to contact Security if accessing campus during this time for safety.
While the IT Service Desk will be operational during the abovementioned hours, only a limited number of IT staff will be on-site. Core systems support will be available on an on-call basis.
Non-urgent requests for assistance may not be finalised until after the resumption of full services on Monday, 4 January 2021.
The University will return to normal business hours for all services commencing Monday, 4 January 2021.
