The road travelled together
Student and staff experiences of rural, regional and remote social work
Rural, regional and remote social work practice and social work education have possible parallels of experience for students, lecturers and field work staff. Rebecca Burns and Gayle Hall are undertaking focus groups with students and staff at ECU to explore rural, regional and remote practice and education. The research took place from October 2010 to January 2011 and culminated in a presentation to the 10th Biennial National Rural Remote Social Work Conference in Ballarat in 2011.
