Summer School begins on 20 November 2023 and ends on 2 February 2024, giving you time to continue into Semester 1 of 2024 in late February.

Summer School offers a wide range of Business units and is only available by attending our Joondalup Campus. It runs for 10 weeks, commencing 20 November 2023 and ending 2 February 2024. And yes, you will get a one-week break for Christmas!
Note: For new students, we'll have Orientation events running from 15-17 November.

If you have an education agent, speak with them so they can lodge an application on your behalf through the Agent Portal. If you’ve already applied for Semester 1, 2024, your agent can change this to Summer School.
If you do not have an education agent and are from an eligible country, please apply directly through the Applicant Portal.
Tuition fees for Summer School units are the same as ECU's Semester 1 2024 tuition fees. As a Summer School applicant, you may be eligible for an international scholarship. This will be assessed automatically when you submit your application.

If you need to complete additional English study before starting at ECU, you can package your ECU course with English through our pathway provider, Edith Cowan College. Alternatively, you can consider other English pathway providers ECU has relationships with.
The availability of an English package will depend on how many weeks of English you need, and whether this will fit into the time between now and Summer School starting in November 2023.
Summer School unit enrolment opens on Wednesday 13 September and closes on Friday 1 December 2023.
Please note: enrolment will only be available to you from this date if you have accepted your offer, paid your tuition fees, and received your Confirmation of Enrolment.

Our course pages display an 'estimated first year indicative fee' to give you a guide to expected fees. This estimate is based on a typical enrolment for the first year of the course. The total cost of your course may vary, depending on what individual units you choose.
ECU offers a range of scholarships to eligible undergraduate and postgraduate international students. This includes our World Ready scholarships that can reduce your tuition fees by up to 20%.
Before you can apply for your new Student Visa, you must have a valid Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE). ECU will provide you with a CoE once your first semester fees are paid and your OSHC is confirmed, as outlined on your letter of offer.
The Australian Government's Department of Home Affairs will require your CoE when you submit your Student Visa application.
As an international student, you'll need to get health cover before arriving in Australia. This cover is paid at the same time as you pay course fees.
In November 2019, Perth received regional status from the Australian Federal Government. For international students, this means you may be eligible to stay in Western Australia for four to six years after completing undergraduate or postgraduate study.
A Post-Study Work Visa gives you the opportunity to gain more work experience in Australia and you could be eligible for skills assessments required for a Skilled Visa application.

Most international students can apply directly for entry to an ECU course, but there are special arrangements for students from India, Pakistan, Nepal or a Sub-Saharan Africa country (excluding South Africa) who must apply through an ECU authorised agent.

Yes. If you've applied direct to ECU for a course, you can easily track progress through our application status check.
If you applied through an Authorised Agent you'll need to contact them about progress.
We welcome you as an official ECU student. You should then review our pre-departure information, attend orientation and enrol in your study units.
Once you've successfully accepted your offer to study at ECU, and we've confirmed receipt of the required fees, we'll issue a Confirmation of Enrolment. If required, this document allows you to apply for a student visa to study in Australia.
We send you an Offer Letter for a place at ECU. This will be an Offer or a Conditional Offer (you must meet the conditions of your offer), or an alternative pathway offer. The letter also includes course details, fees to pay and more.
You then need to complete the online acceptance and pay the 'Fees payable now'. This includes your first semester course fees and Overseas Student Health Cover.
