Semester 2, 2021

Choose from a range of our most popular courses in an online study period commencing in late July 2021.

Some courses can be studied entirely online, but most courses will require you to come on-campus in Perth to finish your degree when borders re-open. You must also meet visa requirements to travel to Perth.

Select a course and view available online units from one of our study areas below.

Course fees and scholarships

Course fees

Our course pages display an 'estimated 1st year indicative fee' to give you a guide to expected fees. This estimate is based on a typical enrolment of students undertaking the first year of that course. However, because you pay for each unit you enrol in, the total cost of your course will vary, depending on what units you choose.

Scholarships

Our Welcome to ECU online scholarships can reduce your tuition fees by up to 30%, saving you thousands of AUD. They're available to international students studying offshore and online in Semester 2, 2021. This scholarship will be offered each semester until travel for study in Perth is possible.

When we are able to welcome you here to continue your study, you may be eligible to receive one of our World Ready scholarships, reducing your tuition fees by up to 20%.

Visas & post-study work

Stay longer on your student visa

From November 2019, international students may be eligible to stay in Western Australia for three years after completing their undergraduate or postgraduate study.

A post-study work visa may give you the opportunity to gain more work experience and you could be eligible for skills assessments required for a skilled visa application.

There may also be an opportunity for you to apply for a limited number of scholarships, providing up to $15,000 per year to support study and living expenses. For ECU, the scholarship would require you to study at our South West Campus in Bunbury.

Online study and post-study work eligibility

As a result of COVID-19, the Australian Department of Home Affairs has made changes to the Temporary Graduate Visa (subclass 485).

For online study undertaken outside of Australia due to COVID-19 travel restrictions, study will count towards the Australian Study Requirement for existing and new student visa holders from the time the visa is granted.

Graduates affected by COVID-19 travel restrictions can apply for and be granted a Temporary Graduate visa outside Australia where they have met all the requirements.

Student visa and online study

Note These announcements are a positive development for international students interested in studying in Perth, but are subject to change as they are formally implemented by the relevant state and federal government departments.

I am the youngest team member and was able to get this opportunity solely because of my studies at ECU.

One of the key factors that pulled me here was ECU’s great reputation in the field of Information Technology and Systems. The University has prepared me very well for the industry. ECU Master of Professional Accounting graduate

"When I think of my experience studying at the School of Business and Law at ECU, 'exhilarating' is the first thing that comes to mind"

I came to this country by myself - I had no family here at all. I found ECU, and Perth in general to be incredibly welcoming and I felt very comfortable.

The academic staff were just awesome. The lecturers were friendly, open and very helpful. Interacting with my peers and my lecturers helped to build my personal confidence. I have also been lucky enough to secure an accounting position since graduating. However, I feel the biggest achievement of this journey were the smiles on my parents faces when I graduated. They really sacrificed a fair bit to get me here and I feel like I've done them proud.
