And with only three or four units, they can be completed in as little as six months full-time.

Some Graduate Certificates require you to hold a Bachelors degree; many are available if you’ve had five or more years' experience in a particular field.

A completed Graduate Certificate is a recognised pathway to other postgraduate programs.

Our Masters degree courses vary in length, depending upon your qualifications and whether those qualifications are in the same discipline as the degree. See Masters degrees below for details.

Scott Murray

"My MBA was critical to finding the job I have today."

"Although I have an undergraduate degree in Law, I had limited business knowledge. An MBA is the ideal course to transition into business. My MBA was critical to finding the job I have today. I discovered an entirely new career direction to pursue and one that I find enjoyable and fulfilling. The people on the course and the lecturers were certainly the highlight. They made a complicated course enjoyable, and provided me with knowledge and skills far beyond what would normally be provided. I have friends throughout the world now, and the course has given me access to a career I never thought I would have access to in the past."

Clarice Pinheiro

"The skills I acquired while studying project management allowed me to progress my career."

"I am originally from Brazil and chose to come to ECU to study project management because of the University’s reputation. Learning from lecturers who have worked in the industry provided me with valuable insights. They shared their experiences which I found was more interesting than just learning theory. I enjoyed ECU's multicultural student population and appreciated the welcoming attitudes of the lecturers and students. As an international student, this was very important to me and essential to my success. Because of my engineering background, I was already working for an oil and gas company; however, as soon as I started my project management course, I was able to change my job from working in the supply chain area to the project management area as Operations Coordinator. I find my work quite challenging as I get to coordinate projects within the oil and gas industry, dealing with manufacturing plants in Singapore / Malaysia / Norway / Houston, and organising offshore work in Australia."
