More than 250 children learnt new skills, met sport stars and made new friends over the school holidays as part of the ECU Kids Holiday Program.
The Kid's Holiday Program offers school children of all ages the chance to participate in a variety of different sports in a safe and friendly environment, while making new friends and developing new skills.
Children enjoyed activities such as tennis, basketball, beach volleyball and athletics with the help of some of their favourite sports stars, including players from the Perth Wildcats, Perth Lynx and West Perth Football club.
The program was a great success with over 150 children attending the Joondalup Campus, and 100 attending the Mount Lawley Campus.
Sport and Recreation Coordinator, Tarryn Dickerson is thrilled with the program’s success.
“This is a fantastic opportunity for children to keep active throughout the school holidays, make some great new friends and learn some new sports.”
“We're thrilled at the turnout, particularly at the Mount Lawley Campus, which successfully held the program for the first time these school holidays,” said Ms Dickerson.
