About this Specialisation

Designed for teachers who wish to up-skill in Design and Technology Education. The coursework provides theoretical and practical knowledge needed to create engaging teaching and learning units for secondary students in Years 7-10.

Engaging in this coursework, teachers will gain the knowledge and skills in Design and Technology and develop their ability to provide engaging and authentic practice in the workshop educational setting.

Important notes

  • DTM6501, DTM6502 and DTM6503 will be offered intensively over a two-week period during the West Australian school holidays in order for current teachers to attend classes. TEF6600 is only available in Semester 1.
