From 1 January 2016, ECU implemented a new academic organisational structure that no longer includes faculties.
The university is now organised into eight schools.These changes were introduced to enhance academic performance, create clearer accountabilities and responsibilities, and enhance executive decision making.
The former Faculty of Education and Arts has been absorbed into two schools - the School of Education and the School of Arts and Humanities.
