Pines Alumni Movie Night - Priscilla, Queen of the Desert

You are invited to join us back on campus at ECU Joondalup Pines for an alumni-exclusive screening of classic hit Priscilla, Queen of the Desert. Bring a picnic and enjoy an evening of entertainment under the stars.


New Grads Careers Workshop: What employers are looking for - featuring Brodie McDougall, Regional Director of Michael Page Recruitment

Aimed specifically at new graduates this workshop will equip you with some of the skills you need most as you start out in your new career.

ECU's Careers and Employability Advisor, Catherine Lightfoot will take you through using LinkedIn as a job search tool.

We will then be joined by our special guest speaker and ECU alumnus, Brodie McDougall, who is the Regional Director of Michael Page Recruitment in Perth. Brodie has worked within the recruitment industry for over 15 years and knows what it takes to stand out and progress in your career.

We'll also have a visa expert and an ECU Career Advisor on hand to give you the tools you need to succeed in the Australian job market. Register now!


Starlight Stories

We are delighted to invite you to the second annual Starlight Stories event, held exclusively for ECU alumni. Move with the music of Aboriginal artists, sing along to the ancient rhythms, try your hand at basket weaving, join an indigenous art class. This event will offer incredible insight into the world’s oldest living culture with an activity to suit every member of your family.

Bring a picnic, and enjoy this family-friendly afternoon while celebrating new beginnings through traditional performances. Register now!

Music Under the Stars

Taking place in November every year, this outdoor concert at Joondalup Campus is a wonderful night of entertainment featuring many ECU and WAAPA alumni, as well as local talent. Make sure your details are up to date and look out for your email invitation.

Brew Ha Ha Alumni Comedy Night

Our incredibly popular comedy night is held each year during winter at the Heath Ledger Theatre in the State Theatre Centre of WA.

Leadership Roundtable

Exclusive to ECU alumni, our Leadership Breakfast gives you access to the expertise of some of our most successful graduates. Each table carries a theme and is headed by an alumni business leader. Choose your table and get ready to ask questions.

Leading Insights Every year we bring an inspirational speaker to Perth to share their story with the ECU Alumni community.

Past speakers have included: Saroo Brierley, who inspired the remarkable film Lion, Author, artist, actor and comedian, Anh Doh, Australian cricketer and coach, Justin Langer, Champion aerial skier Alisa Camplin and Li Cunxin, the man behind the book and film Mao's Last Dancer.

Starlight Stories

Bring your picnic blanket for this family-friendly evening, and explore local Aboriginal culture. Enjoy interactive experiences as well as traditional and contemporary Aboriginal song and dance, including from our very own WAAPA Aboriginal Performance students.

Every year we host exclusive screenings of some of the latest releases at local movie theatres.
