At ECU, we reward the achievements of students. Our scholarships recognise those whose life journey so far has not been an easy one, as well as the students displaying outstanding academic excellence and endeavour.

With the support of an ECU scholarship, we want to help you realise your ambitions and reach your destination. We offer a range of scholarships to current and future students that aim to help you successfully complete your course by improving your financial situation.

Scholarships available

The Inspiring Minds Scholarship is available to Australians and is valued at $40,000 per annum (tax free) it offers you the opportunity to undertake a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) at ECU.

Current Western Australian year 12 school leavers displaying outstanding academic excellence and endeavour are encouraged to apply for the ECU Excellence Scholarship or the ECU South West Campus Scholarship. Both scholarships will open for online applications 29 August 2014 until 12 January 2015, for students commencing ECU in semester 1, 2015. Students whose first preference of university through TISC is our Bunbury campus should apply for the ECU South West Campus Scholarship, those whose preference is Joondalup or Mount Lawley should apply for the ECU Excellence Scholarships.

At ECU, we are committed to undertaking high quality research and have several scholarships for domestic students undertaking a doctoral or master by research degree. Applications are open 1 September 2014 - 31 October 2014 for outstanding students commencing their higher degree by research in semester 1, 2015. For more information.

Bound for Oxford

Indigenous graduate Tamara Murdock, who completed a Bachelor of Science (Environmental Management) with First Class Honours has been awarded a scholarship to the University of Oxford.

Thanks to the generosity of the Swift family, two regional students have been awarded $24,000 each to support their nursing studies.

Scholarships by criteria
