At ECU, we reward the achievements of students. Our scholarships recognise those whose life journey so far has not been an easy one, as well as the students displaying outstanding academic excellence and endeavour.
With the support of an ECU scholarship, we want to help you realise your ambitions and reach your destination. We offer a range of scholarships to current and future students that aim to help you successfully complete your course by improving your financial situation.
During January, February and March, ECU will be seeking applications from both future and current students enrolling in semester 1, 2015 for a variety of scholarships.
ECU Equity Scholarships are intended to assist future and current undergraduate students from designated equity groups, including people with a disability or ongoing illness and those from rural or regional area of Australia, who are in financial hardship. Students who are of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent can view a list of Scholarships by Criteria to assist in their search. Other scholarships opening for applications over this period include some of our donor funded scholarships. For current students City of Joondalup Youth Award - Tertiary Education, The Australian Federation of Air Pilots & Australian Air Pilots Mutual Benefit Fund and Dr John Woolcott Scholarship for WAAPA students The Paulette Carson Scholarship and The Woss Family Jazz Scholarships.
Inspiring Minds Research Scholarship and the ECU International Postgraduate Research Scholarship (ECUPRS Int) are amongst some of the scholarships that will be opening in March designed to support postgraduate students of exceptional research promise to study full-time at ECU in a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or research Master degree.
Get out there and make a difference. This was the message ECU students came away with after attending major conferences on volunteering recently.
Indigenous graduate Tamara Murdock, who completed a Bachelor of Science (Environmental Management) with First Class Honours has been awarded a scholarship to the University of Oxford.
Thanks to the generosity of the Swift family, two regional students have been awarded $24,000 each to support their nursing studies.
