Overview

At ECU, we reward the achievements of students. Our scholarships recognise those whose life journey so far has not been an easy one, as well as the students displaying outstanding academic excellence and endeavour.

With the support of an ECU scholarship, we want to help you realise your ambitions and reach your destination. We offer a range of scholarships to current and future students that aim to help you successfully complete your course by improving your financial situation.

Scholarships available

Nominations for the 2015 Vice-Chancellor's Student Awards are now open. These awards encourage, recognise and reward students for making an outstanding contribution to university life or through engagement with external communities. ECU students and staff and representative bodies external to the University, may nominate any student, or student team for one or both awards (self-nomination will not be accepted). These awards are valued at $5,000 each. Vice-Chancellor's Student Award for Contribution to University Life This award will be presented to a student, or student team, in recognition of an outstanding contribution to student life at Edith Cowan University.  Vice-Chancellor's Student Award for Engagement This award will be presented to a student, or student team, in recognition of outstanding engagement with external communities that has contributed to the achievement of Edith Cowan University's strategic priorities. Nominations close: 29 June 2015.

Inspiring Minds Research Scholarships are amongst some of the scholarships that are open for application and are designed to support postgraduate students of exceptional research promise to study full-time at ECU in a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or research Master degree. The Inspiring Minds Research Scholarship is valued at $40,000 per year (Tax free).

ECU Department of Health (WA) Aboriginal Scholarship is now open for applications from Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people in tertiary education for health related disciplines - find out more.

International opportunity

Sacha King now works for a global humanitarian organisation in Thailand – and it’s all thanks to a scholarship she won in 2013 while studying at ECU. Applications for the 2015 scholarship are now open.

Scholarships by criteria
