Edith Cowan University is the second largest university in Western Australia and offers over 300 courses across a diverse range of disciplines from undergraduate to doctoral levels. ECU works closely with schools and employers to achieve optimum employment outcomes for graduates and ensure that ECU graduates are job ready.

ECU is available to connect you with our students and graduates. You may be seeking:

  • undergraduate or postgraduate students to fill ongoing positions;
  • candidates for graduate programs or internships;
  • students for short-term casual or “vacation” employment; or
  • volunteers.

Services to Employers

We offer the following services to employers and organisations who are seeking to connect with ECU students and graduates:

Advertising job opportunities through CareerHub

As an employer or organisation, you can register on CareerHub to directly advertise your job vacancies, internships, work experience, volunteer opportunities, vacation work and graduate programs to our students and graduates.

Targeted on-campus employer presentations, seminars and information sessions

These are an effective strategy to engage with both students and staff members, promote employment opportunities and advertise graduate programs to current students and recent graduates.

Career fairs and graduate panels where ECU graduates share their industry experience

External employers from industries as diverse as education, business, engineering, corrective services, mining and resources, defence, nursing, and many more have worked with ECU to develop successful events to connect with our students. Employers are invited to contact us to find out about our upcoming  events and how you can become involved.

Contacting us to discuss arranging an on-campus presentation or participate at a career fair is an excellent opportunity for an employer to meet students face-to-face, share your industry knowledge and experience and market your organisation as a key employer. Your individual needs and requirements will be discussed  and the Careers and Leadership Services team can help organise, coordinate and promote the session to relevant students and graduates.
