ECU Career Alumni Mentoring Program

Want to partner with a successful ECU alumnus to learn more about your chosen career pathway?

The ECU Career Alumni Mentoring Program provides opportunities for former ECU students to share their wealth of professional experience with current second, third or fourth year students, helping in the transition from university to paid employment.

Your Mentor will provide opportunities to explore your career options, develop professional networks, increase your employability and give you a rare insight into your chosen industry.

Alumni Mentors come from a range of industries and disciplines and will contribute their time to help you launch your career. This one-on-one mentoring program will help prepare you for your transition into the workplace.

The program is flexible and allows you to define both your career and personal goals. Alumni Mentors come from a range of industries and disciplines and are giving their time to help you launch your career.

Program Structure

  1. Applications will open for both mentors and mentee. Submit your Expression of Interest for round one by 23 March 2020
  2. Program handbook and resources will be sent out to mentees by 20 march 2020
  3. Onc ethe matching is completed, both mentors and mentees will be introduced to each other via email
  4. Mentor and Mentee agreement to be signed
  5. Mentees will also be asked to participate in an end of program evaluation and provide a testimonial about their experience
  6. Finally, an end of program function attended by all mentors and mentees will provide an opportunity to reflect on the achievements of the program’s objectives
