Our Graduate Research School offers services and support to Research Master and Doctoral candidates, their supervisors and their faculties.
We aim to enhance the quality of the research experience and culture at ECU by providing face-to-face and online training, seminars, academic events and social activities. We also promote high quality in research training through clear policies, procedures, information and support processes.
We support higher degree researchers by providing training, resources, peer-to-peer support, networking opportunities and social events to honours, masters and doctoral candidates and their supervisors.
We promote high quality in research programs and outcomes through the development of sound policies and procedures and information. We also foster good practice in supervision through the provision of training and compliance procedures for supervisory staff.
Our key service areas include;
InSPiRE conference for postgraduate researchers includes themed days from each of the five WA universities. ECU's theme is "Presenting your research with confidence'.
SCA PhD student can now add another string to her bow with novel, “The Historian’s Daughter”, shortlisted for the Dundee International Book Prize.
InSPiRE is a week-long postgraduate conference-style event bringing together all five Western Australian Universities and hundreds of postgraduate students.
