Overview

The Graduate Research School (GRS) offers services and support to Doctoral and Master by Research candidates to help enhance the quality of the research and research training experience at ECU.

We aim to enhance the quality of the research experience and culture at ECU by providing a comprehensive face-to-face and online research skills training program to help, seminars, academic events and social activities. We also promote high quality in research training through clear policies, procedures, information and support processes.

According to the 2018 International Student Barometer, ECU’s Graduate Research School has been ranked amongst the top three in Australia each year since 2011, with a 94% satisfaction rate in 2018.

Our services

We support higher degree researchers by providing training, resources, peer-to-peer support, networking opportunities and social events to honours, masters and doctoral candidates and their supervisors.

We promote high quality in research programs and outcomes through the development of sound policies and procedures and information. We also foster good practice in supervision through the provision of training and compliance procedures for supervisory staff.
