Faculty of Business and Law research staff are encouraged to express their interest in presenting showcase seminars, workshops and panel discussions in this year’s ECU Research Week, held from 15 to 19 August.

Now in its third year, ECU’s Research Week is shaping up to be even bigger and better. The event brings students, staff, and current and future researchers together to share their research, knowledge, ideas and inspiration.

The 2011 program of events is currently in development and will include exhibitions, workshops, competitions, symposia, colloquia, and information sessions about research, honours and postgraduate study.

Back by popular demand, the Three Minute Thesis competition will also feature during Research Week. The national competition allows Higher Degrees Research candidates to pitch their research to an audience in an exciting way. Last year Ms Jalleh Sharafizad from the School of Management came third in the ECU finals, winning a $500 travel grant. 2011 competition details will be released soon.
