The ConocoPhillips Science Experience provides students who have an interest in science with an opportunity to engage in a variety of science activities. An annual event, the Science Experience is hosted by 30 universities and tertiary institutions nationwide and is supported by Rotary.
ECU hosts the ConocoPhillips Science Experience at its Joondalup campus in January each year. The four-day event aims to boost high school students’ interest and participation in science, raise their awareness of science careers, and encourage them to study science in upper school and university.
From 17-20 January 2017, the Science Experience welcomed students aged 14-16 from across Western Australia to ECU Joondalup. Students took part in fascinating science-based activities and workshops facilitated by a welcoming team of ECU scientists and engineers.

This event runs during January each year. Each day consists of a combination of workshops, lectures and site visits run across four full days.
