"Follow your instincts and a career will follow."
"Someone once said to me “follow your instincts and a career will follow”. My interest has always been cars and mechanical systems. Given that nearly all modern mechanical systems incorporate some form of electronics, I chose the Mechatronics course at ECU. The course has been great and has given me a strong technical proficiency in my field. But what I most enjoyed about ECU was helping to build the student engineering club, we had lots of help and support from the staff – and now the club’s thriving and gives students a valuable link with some top engineers from high profile companies. I’ll be leaving ECU with fond memories of working on real life problems with lecturers, plenty of new friends and the confidence in my ability to start a career as a professional engineer."
