Industry

ECU's School of Engineering is recognised among the world’s best 175 universities for its excellent quality of education and research, along with our highly supportive and committed academics, and outstanding infrastructure that is second to none.

With a continued commitment to offering world-class facilities, the School of Engineering’s three new state-of-the-art laboratories represent a $10 million investment to drive innovation, research and development for Western Australia’s manufacturing, mining, oil and gas, renewable energy and other related engineering industries.

These laboratories offer cutting-edge technologies, some of which are unique in Australia. Combined with ECU’s world-class research and industry-focused engineering expertise, the laboratories will enable the development of creative solutions to the challenges in the areas of sustainable energy production and intelligent manufacturing.

Our mission and facilities are aligned with both industry and the State Government’s commitment to boosting local manufacturing and securing Western Australia’s energy future.
