Dr Martyn Cross

Dr Martyn Cross is an Adjunct Senior Lecturer in Occupational Health and Safety in the School of Medical and Health Sciences.

Background

Dr Martyn Cross retired from ECU in 2022, after around 35 years across many aspects of occupational health and safety, in a variety of industries..

Martyn has an honours degree in Toxicology, a Master of Public Health and a PhD focussing on health surveillance.  Martyn has worked as an Occupational Hygienist in WorkSafe WA, WA Department of Health, in the mining industry, and as a consultant. He has also worked as a Safety Management System Consultant and Senior Safety Advisor in the mining industry.
