ECU's Careers and Employability Services team have created five Career Hacks booklets for you to use to help you find work experience, write a resume, write a cover letter, write selection criteria and interview.

    A cover letter (also referred to as an application letter) is used to respond to key requirements, skills, attributes, experience and knowledge as specified in the job advertisement. This fact sheet will help you to write an attention-grabbing cover letter.

    As defined by the Australian Government's Fair Work Ombudsman, work experience is work preformed within a business to gain experience in an occupation or industry.
