This scholarship is awarded to students who have achieved outstanding individual recognition at the national or international level within the last 5 years in the following categories: Talents: Winners, 1st runners-up, or 2nd runners-up in areas such as singing, dancing, or playing a musical instrument, Visharada or Nipun qualified; Academic Achievements: Recipients of Olympiad medals or other national-level academic awards; Community Service: Recipients of national recognition awards for exceptional contributions to community service; Public Speaking: National-level recognition in public speaking or related fields; National or international level sports achievements; Any similar qualification will be considered upon the approval of the General Manager, ECUSL.

All scholarships are awarded at ECU’s discretion. Assessment of sporting or civil awards or merits at a national level is at ECU’s absolute discretion. ECU reserves the right to revoke the scholarship at any stage if a student is found to have provided information that is misleading, does not meet the scholarship eligibility criteria (including ECU’s standard and specific admission requirements), or does not comply with the ongoing conditions of the scholarship.
ECU also reserves the right to decline to award scholarships if, in its opinion, there are no suitable applicants. The number of scholarships to be awarded shall be at ECU’s sole discretion. This scholarship may be withdrawn from offering by ECU at any time.
