The Robert Toia Scholarship

The Robert Toia Scholarship has been generously donated to support a student enrolled in a Bachelor of Music – Classical Performance Instrumental at WAAPA who is experiencing financial need. The scholarship provides a one off payment of $4,000.

Eligibility guidelines

To be eligible for this scholarship you must:

  • be an Australian citizen or Australian permanent resident
  • be enrolled in the Bachelor of Music - Classical Performance Instrumental at WAAPA;
  • have and maintain an academic progression status of GREEN;
  • be studying full-time on campus (60 credit points or course equivalent);
  • be able to demonstrate financial hardship; and
  • not be in receipt of another scholarship over $5000 per year.

How to apply

Application is made via the ECU Online Scholarship Application Portal. Access to the Portal is available between application opening and closing dates.

Applicants will be required to provide a personal statement of no more than 500 words addressing the following;

Describe your current financial personal circumstances and how you would benefit from receiving the scholarship.

Eligible applications will be assessed by a Selection Committee.
