Graduate Certificate of Leadership in Mining Workplace Safety

Course Overview

Are you an aspiring or current manager in Western Australia’s mining industry?

ECU’s Graduate Certificate of Leadership in Mining Workplace Safety will enhance your leadership capability and is focused on advancing a culture of respect and safety, preventing sexual harassment and supporting diversity, equity and inclusion, and reducing workplace fatalities and injuries. It is designed to prepare the mining workforce for the future of work safety, particularly in the areas of mental awareness and respect.

This course is offered in partnership with the Western Australian Government’s Mental Awareness, Respect and Safety (MARS) program, administered by the Department of Energy, Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety (DEMIRS).

Delivery

This course is offered in part-time or full-time delivery mode. You can study flexibly online for the majority of the unit, and attend two-day intensives delivered from ECU Wellington Street in the Perth CBD. Units will also be available to study completely online. Each unit will run over a period of five to eight weeks.
