It has been a big year for us all. COVID-19 presented us with many challenges as individuals, families, businesses, and, of course for our students, alumni and staff here at ECU.

Thank you for your continued support of our students and staff.

As we step into a New Year, I would encourage you to reflect on the challenges of the year and look forward to new beginnings.

For the ECU community that means a year of excitement, transformation and activation.

Continued from Alumni News...

Early in 2021, the landmark ECU City Campus project will hit some critical milestones, including the appointment of Lead Architect and Lead Design Engineers. This iconic project will help shape and transform both ECU and the City of Perth and deliver incredible opportunities for our new students and graduates.

Thank you to the alumni who took part in our first ECU Alumni City Campus Workshop after responding to the call to be involved in the project in the previous e-news. We look forward to continuing to work with our alumni community from now until the campus opens in 2025. For more information on the project visit: citycampus.ecu.edu.au/news

Next year is also a year of celebration as we commemorate ECU’s 30th anniversary and the 100th anniversary of our namesake, Edith Cowan (OBE) being elected to the Western Australian Legislative Assembly, becoming the first woman in Australia to sit in any Parliament.

I wish you and your families a happy and healthy holiday.

Professor Steve Chapman
Vice-Chancellor
