ECU hosts teams from WA universities and a number of external organisations at the ECU Western Invitational. Teams will compete in volleyball, basketball, futsal, netball and touch, and with a full line-up of activities and games over the four days spectators are welcome to come along and support their team.

Weekly drop-in sessions are available every week, where students can try a new sport, get fit and make friends. Sessions include futsal, netball, basketball, volleyball, badminton, tennis, hockey, touch football and more!

The rivalry between the five WA universities heats up in the UniSport Western Series. In a rolling competition that takes place over the course of the year, it’s uni vs uni as students compete in a range of sports, including basketball, touch, netball, volleyball, badminton, ultimate, futsal, tennis, hockey and more. Join us as we travel to various exciting locations around the country, representing ‘Team ECU’ at the UniSport Nationals. Join thousands of Australian students from 43 universities for a week of fun, next-level competition and mateship.
Players are invited to join our netball, basketball, volleyball, tennis, hockey, beach volleyball, futsal and touch rugby teams.
Indigenous and Torres Strait Islander students are encouraged to compete in the UniSport Indigenous Nationals competition and local WA tournaments. The tournaments provide an awesome opportunity to be involved in local and national events that celebrates the rich sporting culture of indigenous Australians.
