Parking on ECU campus grounds is governed by the ECU Lands and Traffic By-Laws. Parking is divided into clearly identified zones for staff, students and visitors, and these are outlined on our campus maps. Parking permits are required to park in any of those zones.
The University accepts no responsibility for the loss of or damage to vehicles when on University Lands, or for loss or damage to contents or accessories.
We encourage students and staff to find alternative, healthier and greener ways to travel to our campuses.
Our Travelsmart web page provides details of public transport routes, the Joondalup CAT bus and some walking and cycling options. We also provide bike rails close to building entrances, lockable cages and lockers, and great end-of-trip facilities.
You must display a valid parking permit or a valid metered parking ticket when parking on University grounds on weekdays, between the hours of 7.00 am and 5.00 pm. Students wishing to park at ECU will need to purchase a student (red) parking permit. All parking areas and bays are clearly marked.
If you choose to drive to an ECU campus you will need a parking permit to park in any of the allocated staff car parks. There are permit options and you can save money by salary packaging the cost of a permit or through carpooling.
