Stakeholders

ECU is building on our years of experience in delivering integrated, community-based, primary healthcare at the ECU Health Centre Wanneroo, a successful model for partnering with local government, health providers, and community stakeholders to deliver high-quality, affordable, accessible care to previously underserved communities. We’re looking forward to working with community and government stakeholders in developing these much-needed health services in Yanchep, and being a valued community partner for many years into the future.

Key stakeholders in the development stages of the ECU Health Centre Yanchep include:

City of Wanneroo

Yanchep is located within the City of Wanneroo, one of WA’s fastest-growing local government areas. ECU and City of Wanneroo have a strong history of partnership through the ECU Health Centre Wanneroo, and will build on that through the new Centre at Yanchep in coming years.

School of Medical and Health Sciences

The ECU School of Medical and Health Sciences (SMHS) is one of the lead Schools involved in the ECU Health Centres at Yanchep and Wanneroo, in both clinical training and research. Undergraduate paramedicine students are expected to undertake clinical placements at a general practice to be located at the Yanchep Centre.

School of Arts and Humanities

The School of Arts and Humanities (SAH) is developing a student-led Counselling Clinic, to be offered at the ECU Health Centre East in 2024, which will provide clinical placements for counselling students.
