Perth Airport Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Scholarship is to support and encourage Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students undertaking an Undergraduate Degree in their first year in an eligible courses listed below. The successful recipient will receive $5000 (prorated for part time study) per semester for the duration of the course up to 3 years. Scholars will be eligible for work placements and other relevant support offered by Perth Airport. The total value of the scholarship is up to $30,000. 2 Scholarships will be available.

Eligibility guidelines
To be eligible for this scholarship you must:
- be an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander;
- be enrolled in your 1st year of the course in an eligible Bachelor degree at ECU;
- have and maintain an academic progression status of GREEN; and
- not be in receipt of another scholarship that is over $5000 per annum.

How to apply
Application is made via the ECU Online Scholarship Application Portal. Access to the Portal is available between application opening and closing dates.
Applicants will be required to provide a personal statement of no more than 500 words addressing these questions:
- What do you hope to achieve upon completion of your studies and how would the Perth Airport Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Scholarship help you achieve these goals?
- Describe how you will apply your skills in your cultural community.
Selection Process
Eligible applications will be assessed by a Selection Committee. Selection will be based on:
- Content of Personal Statement
