Summary of thesis:

Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer among women worldwide. Advances in diagnosis, monitoring and treatment have dramatically improved the 5-year survival rate of women with breast cancer. However, many patients suffer chemotherapy induced cognitive impairments, including but not limited to, memory, planning, processing speed, inhibition, and attention difficulties, which negatively impact their health-related quality of life. The aim of this research is to evaluate the feasibility and therapeutic effects of a telehealth delivered cognitive and exercise training program on cognitive decline and neurological damage in breast cancer patients receiving chemotherapy.
