Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) is a prevalent chronic noncommunicable disease influenced by both genetic and environmental factors; yet its specific pathogenesis remains unclear. The multifactorial and progressive nature of T2DM suggests that a single omics approach may not adequately elucidate its development. Therefore, this current research aims to integrate genomics, glycomics and metabolomic data, along with physical examination and questionnaire information, to construct a comprehensive multi-omics integrated regulatory network. The resulting network is expected to provide a basis for early prevention and effective management of T2DM.
