Summary of thesis:

Cardiac resynchronization therapy is a standard treatment for patients with heart failure with a wide QRS duration. However, up to 30% of patients fail to benefit from this therapy. This study aims to investigate the correlation between cardiac resynchronization therapy response and explore either horizontal QRS axis as a predictor to identify cardiac resynchronization therapy responders in patients with heart failure. In addition, based on horizontal QRS axis, a cardiac resynchronization therapy response prediction model will be established and evaluated.
