Getting to ECU Joondalup Campus: Your Transport Guide

Heading to ECU Joondalup? Here's how to get there easily – whether you're catching public transport, driving, or cycling.

Public Transport

ECU Joondalup is well-connected by public transport:

  • Train: The nearest station is Joondalup Station on the Perth-Joondalup Line. It's about an 8-minute walk to campus.
  • Bus: Several Transperth bus routes serve Joondalup Station, and provide convenient access to the campus.
  • Student Concessions: Don't forget to use your student SmartRider card for discounted fares. Full-time ECU students are eligible for student concessions on Transperth services.

Parking

If you're driving:

  • Parking Permits: Students are required to purchase a Student (Red) Parking ePermit to park on campus. Permits can be obtained conveniently through ECU’s online self-service portal.
  • Parking Locations: Parking is available in designated zones around the campus. Be sure to park in the appropriate zones to avoid fines.
  • Visitor Parking: Visitor parking is paid digitally via the PayStay app. Visitor parking bays are clearly identified by green line markings. The relevant PayStay code is displayed on signage within each car park. Parking fees apply from 7:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday. Visitors are responsible for ensuring they purchase sufficient parking time for the duration of their stay.

End-of-Trip Facilities

For active commuters:

  • Bicycle Parking: Secure bike racks are located throughout the campus.
  • Showers & Lockers: Students who cycle or run to campus can use on-site showers and lockers to freshen up before classes. Locker hire is managed through the Campus Support Office at the Joondalup campus.
