Heading to ECU Joondalup? Here's how to get there easily – whether you're catching public transport, driving, or cycling.

Public Transport

ECU Joondalup is well-connected by public transport:

  • Train: The nearest station is Joondalup Station on the Perth-Joondalup Line. It's about an 8-minute walk to campus.
  • Bus: Several Transperth bus routes serve Joondalup Station, and provide convenient access to the campus.
  • Student Concessions: Don't forget to use your student SmartRider card for discounted fares. Full-time ECU students are eligible for student concessions on Transperth services.

Plan your public transport through the Transperth Journey Planner.

Parking

If you're driving:

  • Parking Permits: Students must purchase a Student (Red) parking permit to park on campus. Permits can be obtained through ECU's parking system.
  • Parking Locations: Parking is available in designated zones around the campus. Be sure to park in the appropriate zones to avoid fines.
  • Visitor Parking: Visitors can park in 'Pay and Display' green bays or purchase a student parking scratchie from food outlets or The School Locker bookstore on campus.

End-of-Trip Facilities

For active commuters:

  • Bicycle Parking: Secure bike racks are located throughout the campus.
  • Showers & Lockers: Students who cycle or run to campus can use on-site showers and lockers to freshen up before classes. Locker hire is managed through the Campus Support Office at the Joondalup campus.

Whether you're taking the train, hopping on a bus, driving, or cycling, ECU Joondalup Campus is easy to access. Planning your route ahead of time ensures a smooth start and end to your day.
