The University Governance Unit is responsible for coordinating elections for a number of positions on Council and its Committees and Boards. To find out more about a particular election, please consult the information below and click on the appropriate downloads for details.
In accordance with the TEQSA Provider Threshold Standards, Council members must be able to meet the requirements outlined in the Fit and Proper Person Declaration.
Two Enrolled Students (one Undergraduate and one Postgraduate)
One-year membership term commencing 11 October 2019.
Nominations open: Tuesday 30 July 2019
Deadline for submission: Tuesday 13 August 2019 at 12 noon
Postal vote: Students who wish to place a postal vote in the election (if required) will need to make a written application to the Returning Officer by Tuesday 6 August 2019.
