ECU Clinic Space

Research and clinical training opportunities are facilitated at the ECU Health Centre Wanneroo through the availability of the ECU Clinic Space on Level 2. ECU is committed to maximising usage of the ECU Clinic Space to generate value in teaching, training, and research.

To achieve this, the ECU Clinic Space is available for use by ECU staff and students for service and program delivery, teaching and education purposes, clinical training, and the conduct of research projects. In certain circumstances, the ECU Clinic Space can also host services led by external organisations in partnership with ECU’s Schools, Research Institutes, and Centres.

The ECU Psychological Services Centre, operated by the School of Arts and Humanities, is the main service located in the ECU Clinic Space. Several other ECU health and research programs are based in the ECU Clinic Space including the Free Exercise Clinic and Occupational Therapy Clinic for Children.

The rooms available for booking by ECU staff in the ECU Clinic Space include the Group Room (dividable into two smaller rooms), and six consulting rooms, each with desks, sofas, and hand basins. There is a reception and shared waiting area in the Level 2 foyer, and a large kitchen for use by ECU staff and students.

The ECU Clinic Space and Research Guidelines outline the appropriate use of the ECU Clinic Space for clinical teaching, service delivery, and research. ECU stakeholders are encouraged to apply using the ECU Clinic Space and Research Application Form.
