The ECU School of Nursing and Midwifery's Centre for Evidence Informed Nursing, Midwifery and Healthcare Practice: A JBI Affiliated group has partnered with the JBI Collaboration (JBIC) since 2019.
As a Centre, our vision is to generate evidence through excellence in research that will inform clinical practice and improve outcomes for the global healthcare community. We have strong alliances and collaborations with industry and engaged stakeholders to develop research projects to address the challenges faced by the healthcare system locally and globally.
JBI Collaboration
JBI is a global organisation promoting and supporting evidence-based decisions that improvehealth and health service delivery.
The JBI Collaboration (JBIC) is a global collaborative evidence network that drives our worldwide effort to promote and support the use of the best available evidence to inform decisions made at the point of care.
The functions of the JBI Collaboration are directed towards the knowledge needs of local clinicians and consumers, with each JBI Collaborating Entity leading evidence-based initiatives in their region, country, state or specialty.
The JBI Collaboration has existed since JBI’s inception in 1996 and has grown from a small group of seven Centres to more than 90+ JBI Collaborating Entities across 40+ countries. These Entities are driven by a united desire to contribute to improvements in the quality and outcomes of healthcare globally through the delivery of high-quality programs of evidence synthesis, transfer and implementation.
