Shelley is a Clinical Practice Facilitator for Midwifery within the School of Nursing and Midwifery. Shelley is involved in facilitating Midwifery workshops and clinical placements for both undergraduate and postgraduate students. She is also part of the ECU Simulation Innovation Team.

Shelley has over 20 years of Nursing and Midwifery experience and has worked across acute, tertiary and community settings, as well as in the Child Health sector. Her passion lies with simulation-based education and she is a strong advocate for students to gain as much hands-on experience as possible throughout their training to empower them to become confident, competent beginning practitioners.
