Jenna Lee's practice focuses on intricate paper sculptures and installations, inviting viewers into an immersive experience that navigates her family history and explores her families lived experience of immigration and being Aboriginal in colonial systems.
Jenna’s practice is characterized by deep research and thoughtful reflection. Her processes are repetitive and symbolic, echoing rituals that hold sacred significance within traditional, familial, and cultural contexts. Her practice is deeply embodied, with each piece formed through a rhythmic, ritual-like process, supported by strong narratives.
