Sarah Contos – A Year of Eating Flowers

Step into an immersive installation that traces the negotiation between the natural world and the synthetic one built in its wake.
Sarah Contos has built a national profile through exhibitions across numerous significant institutions. She returns to Perth as the recipient of the 2027 Copyright Agency Partnerships Grant Commission, recognising her dynamic contemporary practice, autobiographical content and intuitive connection to place. Through sculpture, video projection, textiles and sound, A Year of Eating Flowers considers landscape as a living archive – a place where belonging, memory and our relationship to the natural world are stored.

Sarah Contos is represented by STATION Gallery.
