Mentees

The Peer Leader Program is a good way for new students to meet their peers and gain support, guidance and friendship as they start their student journey.

All commencing undergraduate students are given access to Peer Leaders Canvas site and the opportunity to request a one-on-one mentor, which provides guidance and support in their first semester of study. New students will be contacted during the first few weeks of semester with details about how they can get involved in the Peer Leader Program.

Mentoring groups communicate weekly via Canvas and meet in person and online several times during the semester to chat about their university experiences.

If you are a postgraduate student commencing or undertaking a Higher Degree by Research, you can access the peer mentoring services of the SOAR Centre.
